All of us had many expectations with the year 2020. This year has come may not be a bang as a lot of us have hoped a lot. From the previous year we might be making some plans that after our exams will get over, we’ll be going to visit an island or during our summer breaks we’ll be off to Paris or New York or some other interesting places to Travel. I’m one among you all who have so much interest to wander and take the experience of different places but due to this pandemic we’d been home the whole year but now it’s time to chill out this winter and of course with all safety and precautions as this pandemic is not over yet.
LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA, USA Travel Spot No 1.
Winters are there so buckle up your ski boots, dust off your snow board and pull out those winter coats. Nothing beats the magic in North Lake Tahoe this time of year. Get back to exploring, wandering and revealing in the beauty all around you. All year around, lake Tahoe looks beautiful, but its gorgeous landscape really peaks in the winter.
Besides offering over a dozen ski resorts, the city also has hot springs, beautiful vistas and a vibrant night life. Visitors can enjoy skiing, natural hikes and bird watching. Snow over the mountains and the beautiful burbling of the lakes, such a satisfying winter place to visit.
KIRKJUFELL, ICELAND
Kirkjufell is a mountain that looks straight out of a fairytale. This unusually shaped mountain looks pretty in spring time, but becomes truly beautifyl once it gets a layer of snow. It’s a favourite subject for the photographers who are connected through nature but its truly amazing when seen in real life.
Its one of the most exotic place to Travel in iceland.
PERITO MORENO GLACIER, ARGENTINA
This glacier is a popular tourist spot over the times. Located in the Los Glaciers National Park, it’s one of only three Patagonian Glaciers that is currently growing. At
its northern end of the giant block of ice, there is a tourist spot for them to explore. Some might like to take a boat for the better view and somewhat for adventure.
Again one of the most beautiful place to Travel with your family if you are lover of exotic places.
- KASHMIR, INDIA
Also known as ‘Heaven of the Earth’, Kashmir is famous for its beauty and serenity all around. It’s the most famous and affordable tourist destination worldwide. The sheet of white snow everywhere on trees and
mountains, lakes, shikaras and houseboats (fully furnished with woods) do wonders to its beauty. Its also known as ‘mini Switzerland’.

- ABISKO, SWEDEN
It is the home to Nordic wildlife; a vibrant national park and the best of all, frequent appearance of Aurora Borealis.
The unique climate of area keeps the sky almost clear. You can also find the Aurora Sky Station here. Locals and tourists enjoy dog sledding, ice fishing and telemark skiing.
So there are many more places where you can spend your winters but these places I like the most for lazy winter mornings.
